Join Peter Berry, PBC’s Managing Director as he walks us through the Hogan Group Graph and the valuable insights it gives into a number of talent management areas including selection, team composition and development, and broader organisational dynamics, leading to more informed decision-making and improved overall performance. In this session, Peter will run through two case studies and practical applications for the Hogan Group Graph including a de-identified graduate selection case study and a Team development example utilising the data of PBC’s very own Business Development team.
✔️Graduate Selection Case Study
For this example, Peter will run through the aggregated Hogan profiles for a group of candidates who have applied for a valuer role in a commercial property organisation. We will cover interpreting the Group Graph aligned to the job description and we will highlight the importance of gathering the right context before providing recommendations around the best hiring fit.
Additionally, we’ll discuss the structure of a selection debrief to the Hiring Panel or Manager, where we touch on the analysis involved in reviewing each shortlisted candidate, ensuring alignment with organisational context. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your selection strategies with evidence-based insights and proven methodologies.
✔️Team Development Example
For our team development example, we’ll discuss the importance of self and other awareness. We will dive into the results of PBC’s very own Business Development team identifying their shared strengths, derailers, drivers and occupational preferences across the team, while also understanding the value of diversity.
Learn to identify gaps for team development opportunities, interpret team dynamics, unpack preferred vs. non-preferred behaviours, and understand the likely culture of a team. We look forward to elevating your interpretation skills and empowering you to build high-performing teams.
