Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI)

The MVPI describes personality from the inside – the core goals, values, drivers, and interests that determine what we desire and strive to attain.

The MVPI identifies the core motives, values, interests and beliefs that determine what kind of work people find fulfilling, how they fit into an organisation, and what gets them out of bed and to the office each day.

Organisations can use this information to ensure that values held by job applicants and employees are consistent with those of the organisation. The MVPI can shed light on areas of compatibility and conflict among team members. By assessing values, you can understand what motivates candidates to succeed, and in what type of position, job, and environment they will be most productive.

People’s core motives, values and interests affect every aspect of their lives, from what they find rewarding to their behaviour and decisions-making. Understanding your employees’ values is key to creating an engage, motivated workforce.
