Raven’s Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM)

Learn more

These non-verbal assessments measure mental ability, identifying individuals with advanced observation and clear-thinking skills who can handle the complexity and ambiguity of the modern workplace. It is one of the strongest predictors of on-the-job performance and training success.

Measures of general mental ability (GMA) are the strongest single predictor of on-the-job performance and training success.

Raven’s Progressive Matrices is a widely known and highly-trusted assessment designed to measure general cognitive ability. It is designed to measure an individual’s ability to perceive and think clearly, make meaning out of confusion, and formulate new concepts when faced with novel information.

Providing a single percentile score output with written interpretation, Raven’s APM allows for assessment of candidates across job-level norms, including Executive, Director, Manager, and Individual Contributor.

Raven’s (APM) allows organisations to select those candidates likely to perform better on the job and differentiate candidates of higher cognitive ability. In volumes selection programs, Raven’s allows organisation to stack rank candidates and screen out individuals who do not have the required cognitive ability to perform on the job.
