The WRISc is built on extensive psychological research on counterproductive work behaviour, integrity testing, criminal risk, and normal risk-taking. This robust research base ensures that the assessment accurately evaluates an individual’s tendency for deviant behaviour and uncalculated risk-taking.
Administration
The administration and interpretation of the WRISc are restricted to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered psychologists. Using the assessment requires compulsory online certification training (approximately 10 hours). The assessment and reporting are available in English and take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Assessment scales
The WRISc contains 12 primary scales which have been carefully selected based on their ability to predict counterproductive work behaviours. These scales, when combined into what are called multi-dimensional indices, provide insights into areas such as the dark triad of personality.
Applications
The WRISc can be used in combination with a normal personality measure in high-stakes selection decisions when integrity and risk-related areas are of primary concern for the role.
Report options
Results on the WRISc are made available as an Interpretive Candidate Report and Interpretive Practitioner Report. The Interpretive Candidate Report shows the person’s scores on the 12 primary scales, with high scores potentially indicating problematic areas. The Interpretive Practitioner Report includes the candidate report and an analysis of six multidimensional indices, offering the practitioner insights into potential risks related to counterproductive work behaviour (CWB) and criminal tendencies.
